Job Title: Aquatics Program Director Location: Roxborough Philadelphia YMCA
Level: 10 FLSA Status: Exempt
Range: $27,210 - $34,884 Hiring Supervisor: Debbie Saunders
Employment Status: Full Time

Position Purpose:
Directs the Aquatics Department in the development, implementation, promotion and administration of the aquatics programs that are responsive to the needs of the community. Ensure effective staffing of lifeguards and instructors and quality programs and services. Ensure 100% cross over of new staff to YMCA USA lifeguarding within 6 months of hire. Uphold the high level of YMCA USA safety standards in all areas. Reports to the Executive Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with experience in delivering aquatics programs.
- CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Certification, Instructor Certification. Willingness to continue training and gain related certifications and training certifications.
- Ability to see and hear people in pool and distress signals.
- Ability to operate PC, use spreadsheets, word processing and related software.
- Ability to read and write, communicate via telephone and personally.
- Ability to recruit and motivate staff.
- Ability to develop and monitor budget
